Duties and responsibilities

● Ensures treatments start and end on time

● Maintain knowledge to promote and sell services and retail products

● Ensure work area is clean and tidy and equipment is sanitized according to the

NC State Cosmetics Art Standards

● Assess patient needs and ensure their suitability for the treatment

● Treat clients with respect

● Make goals to ensure client satisfaction and retention

● Build a solid client base

● Consult with clients about the procedures and possible side effects

● Advise clients on skin care

● Maintain product knowledge

Education/Experience

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

1+ years of experience with cosmetic injections Professional certifications required

Lash Technician

Job Description: Lash Technician

Reports to: Practice Manager & Spa Manager

Position Summary

Performs professional eyelash extension sessions.

Duties and responsibilities

●Designs specific eyelash treatments based on the guest’s individual needs

●Upholds the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by state law and the studio’s policies and procedures

●Creates excellent experience for guests with a charismatic, friendly, and helpful attitude

●Provides frequency recommendations and education to guests on proper lash aftercare

●Open to ongoing coaching, and learning by attending and participating in required education and training classes with Regional Lash Trainer

●Committed to consistently improving skills through a professional development program

Education/Experience

License in Esthetics / Aesthetics, or Cosmetology

Licensed Esthetician

Job Description: Licensed Esthetician

Reports to: Practice and Spa Managers

Position Summary

Licensed Estheticians perform skin, body, and hair removal treatments. The Esthetician will consult with clients to assess their requirements, make informed recommendations and explain services, assist them to select appropriate treatments, and ensure their care and satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

●Ensures treatments start and end on time

●Meeting with clients to explain treatment options

●Ensure work area is clean and tidy and equipment is sanitized according to the NC State Cosmetics Art Standards

●Explain the risk and benefits of treatments

●Treat clients with respect

●Make goals to ensure client satisfaction and retention

●Build a solid client base

●Explain aftercare

●Consult with clients to obtain information before treatments and explain possible side effects

●Maintain product knowledge and recommend appropriate skin care regimes

●Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description: Licensed Massage Therapist

Reports to: Practice and Spa Manager

Position Summary

The massage therapist performs therapeutic massages on clients to improve circulation, promote relaxation, and relieves stress, pain and injuries.  

Duties and Responsibilities

●Performs professional quality massages, within the scope of practice and licensing

●Designs specific sessions based on client individual needs 

●Assist in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis

●Creates excellent client/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude

●Performs hot stone, deep tissue, prenatal therapy based on training 

●Utilize other modalities in accordance with applicable law

●Communicate various promotions to clients

●Follow all practice policies and protocols

●Ensure work area is clean and tidy and equipment is sanitized NC Cosmetic Arts guidelines

●Complete wellness charts and assessments accurately and completely

●Perform other duties as assigned 

Education/Experience

●Licensed as a massage therapist

●Minimum hours needed for massage therapy school and certification completion

●Adherence to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License

●Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish and deep tissue massage required, as well as knowledge of and experience with in performing other modalities

●Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork

Position Summary

Permanent Makeup Artist applies permanent cosmetic products to the client’s skin.   

Duties and Responsibilities

●Microblading

●Applying pigment or a tattoo

●Apply permanent makeup to the eyes

●Discuss the risks of the treatments and aftercare

●Reapply permanent makeup when it fades

●Exceptional customer service and client care

●Ensure treatments start and end on time

●Maintain knowledge to promote and sell services and retail products

●Ensure work area is clean and tidy and equipment is sanitized according to the NC State Cosmetics Art Standards

●Make goals to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business

●Build and maintain a solid client base

●Interview clients to obtain information before treatments

●Maintain product knowledge

●Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

●Licensed as a Cosmetologist or Esthetician

●Licensure in Tattooing

●1+ years of experience
